A House of Worship Built by Faith, Sustained by Community
Holy Child Parish has stood at the heart of Lingig since 1940 — long before most of us were born, and long before the roads that now lead to its doors. It has never simply been a building. It has been the constant.
Here, children are baptized into the faith of their grandparents. Couples exchange vows beneath the same crucifix that has watched over the parish for decades. Families gather each Sunday, and each December, to sing, to grieve, to give thanks, and to begin again.
Ministries for the young and the elderly, choirs, catechists, and countless quiet volunteers all call this parish home. As the community around it has grown, the church has aged — and now asks, gently, for the same care it has given us for 86 years.
